Theft Cases in Georgia:
Have You Been Charged with Misdemeanor or Felony Theft?
Sarah Flack Law handles a variety of theft cases including robbery, armed robbery, burglary, shoplifting, carjacking, card fraud and identify theft. In my time as a prosecutor, I handled many of these cases from the other side, meaning I know what kind of strategies the prosecution will be using against you. I have served as a theft crime defense lawyer in several Atlanta courts and have a positive reputation with many prosecutors, judges, and court officials. I know where to go and who to talk to move cases and negotiations forward.
If you are facing a theft crime charge, I can help! Call (678) 648-4345 to schedule a meeting.
You will be charged with:
- A Misdemeanor Crime: If you took property valued at less than $500 and did not use force or threat of force
- A Felony Crime: If you took property valued at more than $500; if you used force or threat of force; if the crime involved a victim over 65 years; if the crime involved fraud
A felony theft conviction could result in a prison sentence up to 15 years. A theft conviction for both misdemeanors and felonies are marked in your criminal record, making it difficult to gain employment opportunities or professional licenses. My goal will be to reduce or dismiss your charges entirely so that they do not impact your future.
